Josh teaches drums and percussion across the Charleston region. Well-versed in all areas of the percussion world, he is a highly sought after teacher in both orchestral and drum set playing. He takes pride in providing students with the knowledge and resources to improve their skills, have a better understanding of music, and understand what it means to play “musically."
Josh works with students of all age levels and believes that building solid foundations is the key to improvement. He teaches drum set, snare drum, timpani, marimba, and vibraphone.
Currently, Josh is the percussion teacher at Thomas C. Cario Middle School, Moultrie Middle School, Charleston County School of Arts middle school, and is the private lessons teacher at Fort Dorchester High School. He offers lessons at his home recording studio, where he has the ability to teach virtual lessons to students all around the world.
